Dr. Krista Archer is a board-certified podiatric surgeon known for her innovative approach to foot health, wellness, and aesthetics. As our practice continues to grow, we are expanding into a beautiful new location in the heart of Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, where we will offer premium nail, foot care, wellness, and aesthetic services.

We are seeking a talented, motivated Nail Technician who is passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences and interested in building a thriving clientele within a physician-led wellness environment.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Nail Technician looking to grow their business in an established practice with an existing patient base and strong community reputation.

Unlike a traditional salon environment, our practice combines wellness, aesthetics, and medical expertise to create a unique experience for our clients. We are looking for someone who values professionalism, attention to detail, and outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional manicures and pedicures

• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment environment

• Provide exceptional customer service and client education

• Recommend appropriate retail products and home care treatments

• Build and maintain strong client relationships

• Ensure all services are performed according to New York State licensing requirements and sanitation standards

• Collaborate with the practice team to create a seamless client experience

Required Qualifications

• Current New York State Nail Specialty License or Cosmetology License

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience preferred

• Strong technical skills in manicure and pedicure services

• Demonstrated expertise in advanced gel nail applications, including gel forms, templates, sculpted extensions, overlays, and structured gel services

• Experience performing precise cuticle work with exceptional attention to detail and client safety

• Proficiency using electric nail files (e-files) and mechanical burr techniques for nail preparation, shaping, refinement, and product removal

• Experience with KeryFlex Nail Restoration is highly desirable; willingness to receive training is required

• Professional appearance and communication skills

• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated

• Must maintain active professional liability insurance with coverage appropriate for the services provided and furnish proof of coverage upon request

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing clientele in Brooklyn or surrounding neighborhoods

• Experience working in a luxury salon, medical spa, podiatry practice, or wellness environment

• Experience performing medical-grade or restorative nail services

• Active social media presence showcasing your work

• Experience with KeryFlex Nail Restoration, IBX, structured gel systems, and advanced nail repair techniques
